Augusta Meacham represents clients in all aspects of divorce, custody, support and equitable distribution of property to include litigation, negotiation and preparation of marital settlement and prenuptial agreements, as well as mediation.
Augusta was recognized in 2018 by Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Lawyer for Divorce and Family Law. She has been named as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and the firm was awarded a Tier 1 Ranking in Family Law by U.S. News & World Reports.
Augusta is a strong advocate for her clients and also a contributing member to the profession, serving in leadership positions with the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, currently as the Vice Chairman for the Family Law Section and as a participant on the Family Law Coalition; lecturing at CLE seminars; and serving as a Court conciliator as well as pro bono advisor on family law issues for local church preschool.
Prior to forming Mullett Dove Meacham & Bradley, PLLC, Augusta practiced as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Betty A. Thompson, Ltd. She also gained legal experience with the Columbus Community Legal Services, Families and the Law Clinic; the United States Attorney’s Office, Homicide and Major Crimes Section; The Honorable Thomas J. Motley, Superior Court for the District of Columbia; and Hogan & Hartson, in Washington, D.C. She currently resides in Falls Church.
