Augusta Meacham is one of the founding partners of Mullett Dove Meacham & Bradley, PLLC, and exclusively practices in the area of domestic relations. With almost 15 years of experience in family law, she represents clients in all aspects of divorce, custody, support and equitable distribution of property to include litigation, negotiation and preparation of marital settlement and prenuptial agreements, as well as mediation. She has established a reputation for effectively guiding clients in the resolution of challenging domestic disputes, both at the trial and appellate court levels.
Ms. Meacham was recognized in 2018 by Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Lawyer for Divorce and Family Law. She has been named as a Raising Star by Super Lawyers and the firm was awarded a Tier 1 Ranking in Family Law by U.S. News & World Reports.
Regarded by her peers as a strong advocate for her clients but also a contributing member to the profession, serving in leadership positions with the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, currently as the Vice Chairman for the Family Law Section and a participant on the Family Law Coalition; lecturing at Continuing Learning Education seminars; and serving as a Court conciliator as well as pro bono advisor on family law issues for local church preschool.
Augusta Meacham is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Women Attorneys Association and the Arlington County and Fairfax County Bar Associations.
Prior to forming Mullett Dove Meacham & Bradley, PLLC, Ms. Meacham practiced as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Betty A. Thompson, Ltd. She also gained legal experience with the Columbus Community Legal Services, Families and the Law Clinic; the United States Attorney’s Office, Homicide and Major Crimes Section; The Honorable Thomas J. Motley, Superior Court for the District of Columbia; and Hogan & Hartson, in Washington, D.C. (now Hogan Lovells). She currently resides in Falls Church, Virginia.
